UX Evangelizing Across UPMC's HealthPlanet
The development teams at UPMC's HealthPlanet had never heard of UX before I entered the department, and they didn't know how to work with a UX designer. I had to educate the various departments on how UX could help their processes along and illustrate to them how utilizing UX principles could help them develop a better product.
I created several presentations on the UX processes and principles, as well as the types of deliverables that were – or could be – created at each phase of the process. From there, I set up several brown bag workshops that were conducted live and recorded for those who were remote or could not attend the workshops in person.
